Eigo Café is a free English program that helps Japanese students practice their English with native English speakers. We developed a weekly program that serves over 100 people a year. Our vision is to provide a native English speaker for every 3 Japanese people in Seattle.
English is the foundation of a global life.
English education is one of the most essential requirements for survival in a global world. Although many Japanese study and live abroad, it is difficult to make relationships with Americans and practice speaking English. This discovery led us to create a program that could both teach English and lead to organic relationships.
